This is a great informational book! There are a lot of beautiful pictures, there is good informational text, and there is a glossary in the back to help define new words. This book covers a lot of information, but since it does it in small sub-sections, it would not be intimidating for a child to read. I particularly like how it contains a section where it introduces a real family and discusses what a day living in Spain looks like for them.

Genre: This book has great facts and information about Spain and the culutre. It includes different examples of families who live in Spain, and what a typical day is like for them. The information is accurate and presents it in an unbiased way.
Illustrations: The illustrations in the book are very helpful to add to the information in the book. Each picture has a purpose and relates to the information that goes with it. They are actual photographs of Spain to make the information more realistic.
