The final volume in the Kiseki review of CLAMP's influential body of work, this issue focuses on finishing Tsubasa Reservoir and surveying Kobato (Kari), two works still in progress at the time this art book was published. As I wrote in my review of the previous issue, I love the Tsubasa series, so I enjoyed reading both volumes of Kiseki that described its story and characters. I've never read Kobato, but after previewing it through the summaries and character sketches, I am certainly intrigued. I just might pick up this series after I finish reading Tsubasa. The format here is the same as all the others: interviews, particular themes from the manga volumes, art work, a special manga written just for the Kiseki books, a few other special features. One of the pleasures of this series is the colored art work. In manga, we only get black or white, unless we buy deluxe editions (typically not available in the States). I appreciate the full-spread colored prints reproduced here, and in the other volumes of the series. I repeat my evaluation from previous reviews: this book is wonderful for fans of the CLAMP artists, or manga aficionados, but unlikely to appeal to those outside of these interest groups. ( )
