Rosie particularly likes this one. I was having some issues with my vocals for a while and we found a lovely youtube channel with a woman who reads children's books (Shon's Stories) and she LOVES her rendition of this book, even more so than me! ;) This one follows llama and his mama on an afternoon errand to the store. Llama does not want to be there and basically has a tantrum in the middle of the store. Mama explains she doesn't love the idea that they have to do shopping either, but that she's grateful to be there with llama, and they shop together and have a treat afterward. I love that mama talks to Llama on their level and makes the experience more fun for Llama. Great little story, lots of fun listening to Shon read it too! ( ) I simply love this book. With its steady flow of rhyming verses, colorful pictures, and relatable situations, this books is perfect to read aloud to your toddlers and preschoolers. In this picture book, child Llama is very upset that his mom interrupts his lazy Saturday with a boring trip to the Shop-a-Rama. To his surprise, his mom dislikes the trip as much as he does but handles it better.
A young llama wants to play but must go shopping with his mother instead, and so he gets angry and makes a mess at the store. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
