“Here Comes A Bus” is a great interactive book for children. I think this book is meant for young children who need to have different activities to keep them engaged and this book is just that. Each page has a “lift the flap” section along with multiple illustrations. The main point of this book is to get children involved in reading and to find the joy in reading. It’s a great book for teachers to have a guided reading lesson, or for parents to sit down and read to their children. I also really like the illustrations in this book. They are more kid friendly and have different animals, vibrant colors, and even skeletons. Lastly, I like that this book includes rhyming words. I think those are great tools for children who are learning to decode different words. For example, “Here comes a bus. I’m sure this is the bus for us.” I would definitely recommend this book. ( )

Fun book for young readers. Easy to read and it is fun because there are places to flip open to reavel more of the story.

Everyone wants to get on the bus and go to the park in this lift-the-flap adventure. They wait and wait, and watch other buses full of funny creatures going to the zoo and other interesting places. Will the right bus ever pull up for them? Children will enjoy the refrain of "Could this be the bus for us?" as they lift the flaps to find their answer.
