Ethan Snow is a former CIA agent, working for the Phoenix Brotherhood and investigating a powerful organization called The Covenant. Most of their doings, including their membership lists, are secret, but what the Brotherhood does know is that The Covenant is involved in domestic terrorism. Ethan believes that he has reached a dead end in trying to penetrate their cloak of secrecy when he is given a woman’s name and address, one last person who might be able to help him in his vital search for answers. He jets off to find her, no questions asked, only to find that he has unwittingly sought the help of a so-called psychic. A psychic who explains to him that she is out the business.
Raine McAllister has Seen too much, from her childhood reading the Tarot and participating in CIA psychic research, to her years of helping to find missing children, she has decided to live a quiet life of seclusion and leave the do-gooding to others. But when Ethan shows up on her doorstep, dropping the name of someone dear from her past, Raine feels compelled to help him in his quest, despite his skepticism of her Gift.
But how could Raine know that her search for members of a secret group of killers would reveal the secrets of her own past which she had hidden from herself?
