In Lahti,Finland, some starange things happened only between eight months - many fishes' carcasses and mysterious dead body were found,the birds were seem less.Ian Munro started to examine truth by Naylor's order and went to Lahti to meet Virolainnen who has information about these matters. However,Munro encounterd scene that Virolainnen has been killed by somebody.
I had already read Munro's other story (The New Zealand File) and I can have fun of reading moreover.I like this story for speeding development and I am not bored. I thought Munro is strong and never move slightly.

This story is thriller. The main character is Ian Munro-a British spy. One day, his boss-Naylor ordered him to go to Finland-Lahti to meet a man-Pentti Virolainen because some strange matters occured. Howener when Munro went to the appointed place,Pentti was killed by someone! And Munro was involved in terrible mater...

I couldn't settle down while I was reading this book. Munro faced danger of death many times, and he was almost killed. However, Munro found a way out of his trouble whis wonderful ways. I was surprised to see how clever he is! There is a sequel to this story,so I want to read it too. ( )

Many fish died of unknown reason. Migrartory bards decreased dramatically but no one knows why. A couple suddenly died for something like poison. All of them occured in Lahti, a small safe town in Finland. Ian Munro is a "Foreign Executive", in other words, spy. He went there to search these strange incident. The man who has inportant information about this incident was murdered in front of Munro. As he put the piece of puzzle, he realized that these incident shows the teriible plan. He also be in danger. Can he complete this puzzle?
I think this story is fun. I read another story of Munro before, and both are so exciting. Munro is always be in danger and has to fight everyone who try to kill him. However, no matter how he is endangered, he is cool and get through it. He keeps us in suspense, and we are surprised at his tecnique to finish his mission. That is the most exciting point. I was dissapointed, however he is a sucker for woman and he was endangered because of her. ( )
