It's taken long hard years to make it on the pro circuit and the idea of anything ruining that is a bitter pill to swallow. But on the other hand, massages from Vance Landon - the guy he's been crushing on since they met is mortifying. Until he finds out his feelings may not be as one sided as he thought. Vance Landon is charmed by Quinn's school boy attitude about his crush on him. But he loves his job and fraternising with the players is out of the question. Like most of Eden and Saxon's team ups, Clueless Puckboy delivers their trademark humour, snark, flirting, adorableness and spice. If you're looking for something that's going to buck the trend - this isn't it. If you're happy to read another ridiculously funny, super sweet and flaming hot read though - then this is your book. I adore hockey m/m reads and Eden and Saxon are at the top of my list when I want to read something lighthearted that will deliver all the feels. Is it similar to their other books? Sure - but that's also what I like about it. I know what I'm getting. For the most part I loved Quinn and Landon. They had a easy chemistry and I liked how they dealt with the situation of work before it became an issue. That was something that really irritated me in Shameless Puckboy with Oskar and Lane - so I liked that they were mature enough to deal with it. On the other hand the back and forth about their feelings was very fifth grade. Plus I had some issues with the age gap between the two - I felt like it wasn't really portrayed well and Quinn irritated me with his immaturity at times. Particularly when he had the idea that he should pick their first argument to get it out of the way and then he wins so he keeps fighting. It felt very juvenile. On the other hand - these puckboy hockey players usually are - so it is what it is. That said, I really enjoyed the relationship between them. I loved that Landon had his interest in bridges and that he tries to help Quinn find his own passion outside of hockey. It felt like good advice for everyone to discover. I loved that Landon suggests My favourite part though would have to be Landon introducing Quinn to his best friend Joel. It was freaking hilarious. The other great thing about this book was the appearances of the NHL Queer Collective and the inclusion of Quinn's best friend on his team - ASHER DALTON!!! Asher was fantastic in Line Mates and Study Dates, book #4 of the CU Hockey series and it was a pleasure to have more of him. Another great book in the series. 4.5 stars, rounded to 5 stars. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

QUINN Straining my groin is bad enough. It puts my hockey career, my future, but even worse, my dignity on the line. Having to get massages in that area from Vance Landon, one of the team trainers, is mortifying. It's impossible to hide my feelings toward him. If my constant blushing and bumbling doesn't give it away, my body does. It's getting to the point where I wonder if hockey is even worth the embarrassment. Trying to avoid him only makes him seek me out more. He's determined to rehab my injury, but all I want is for him to leave me alone. Or fall for me. One or the other. VANCE Ayri Quinn isn't your typical jock ... except for the fact he refuses to admit when he's injured. I've seen more than enough professional sportsmen lose the career they love due to injury, and I'm not having it happen again. Especially not when the guy in question happens to be the sweetest, most awkward, innocent jock I've ever met. When a night out leads to Quinn reinjuring himself, I create a care plan that keeps me hands on, literally. Unfortunately, working with him in close proximity brings all those feelings I've been trying to ignore to the surface. I just need to get him better so he can be back on the ice and out of my bed. Ah, my massage bed. Because if this goes on any longer, I might mean my actual bed. Ayri Quinn is impossible to resist. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

This ..it just makes me giggle and is so perfectly imperfect and his bumbling words around VInce is kinda cute.
As most of the Queer Collective characters are loud, proud and definitely not shy and awkward its a change to see someone not so forward in getting their man!
And all the broken ( )
