Portability, readability, durability without extras: "Pocket New Testament" in this case (ISBN 9780840717764) means not only back jean pocket size, but smaller shirt pocket size. Yet though extra small, due to it's paper and print it is still easier to read than other New Testaments I own -- bright white (instead of off-white) paper and deep red and dark black print, instead of a faded grey color seen elsewhere. But this is strictly the New Testament, there is no addition of "Psalms" or "Psalms and Proverbs," like seen in other NTs. Also, there is no human wisdom intro or "helps" that some people find useful for New Testaments distributed for outreach. Personally, I've found such "helps" to often be full of bad theology, so not having them is both a bulk saver and deception avoider. This burgundy NT is in KJV and also is available in black. Not only do I like carrying this around throughout the day, but I also keep a large bowl of these by the door at home. So good, highly recommend. ( )
