Medium size color photo and List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items.
Some contain a LOT of items, be sure to have them all first.
Directions are given and some nutritional information per serving : calories, carbs, fat, protein and sodium.
Real Portuguese do NOT use canned items for beans, we soak em overnight. Also we use low sodium broths.
Conversion charts are listed at the end.
For the most part the recipes are spot on, I'd not be using canned items at all. we were taught to grow them and can them for winter months. ( )
