Not quite as good as previous Ross Welford books but neverthless it is entertaining enough. In the year 2425, Ocean Mooney meets up with a travelling player called Duke ( who happens to own a monkeycalled Pierre). Duke reveals that his guardian Monsieur Lumiere is interested in a story about a time travel object from 2023 which is supposed to be buried under an elm tree in Ocean's village. Ocean and Duke dig up the time tablet and Pierre and Ocean are accidentally transported back to 2023.
In 2023, Thomas has just met his cousin Kylie from Australia, the inventor of the time tablet and the two are going to be on TV to show how it works. Of course, when it switches on and Ocen and Pierre gets sucked into 2023, Thomas and Kylie get transported into 2045! ( )
