It seems wedding fever is rampant in Summer Beach, but Marina is having second thoughts. And what has put her off from delving into wedded bliss? Jack’s sloppiness, lack of house cleaning skills, and failure to keep a schedule, or really, to keep his dates with Marina. Jack definitely needs to up his game if he’s going to win Marina’s hand in marriage. Meanwhile, Kai has a huge surprise for everyone. This sweet romance oozes into sappiness a time or two, but it’s still a nice romance story . . . if you like reading about weddings. I can’t wait to see what Jack is like in future books. Can a tiger ever change his stripes? That jury is still out! ( ) I am a huge Jan Moran fan, always excited by a new release by her. I have been patiently waiting for the next book in this series, and it was worth the wait! I always look forward to a visit with the residents of Summer Beach. In this fourth book in the series, one couple gets married in a unique and perfect way for them. Another couple faces new challenges that threaten their way to the altar. Jack’s little boy Leo steals everyone’s hearts. There are challenges and misunderstandings, but there is also always close friendships, loving families, laughter, tears, and hope. Superb writing, realistic characters, and the ideal setting make this book (and series) the idyllic escape from your routine daily life. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! You can always count on Jan for a “feel good” sweet romance. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Three weddings and a food truck. It's wedding season in Summer Beach, and you're invited! At the Coral Cottage, this summer is as busy as ever. Marina's sister Kai moved up her wedding but she won't say why and her new theater production is a huge secret. Still, Marina is determined to expand her Coral Cafe with a new food truck and staff. As for Marina's relationship with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jack, she's unsure if her grown children will accept a new marriage and a younger stepbrother. Or will this summer spell an end to their romance? Their grandmother and matriarch of the family, the indomitable Ginger Delavie, doles out unusual advice. But even a strong woman like Ginger can only take so much. Don't miss the event of the season in Summer Beach. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
