This story is about a pair of brothers who are worried that they did something to make their mom and dad get a divorce. It does a very nice job explaining what divorce is and how it usually works in a way that children can understand. The main emphasis is on the fact that it is never the children’s fault and they will always be loved by both parents. ( ) Two little boys make a mess with chocolate pudding. When their parents come down and see the mess, they start to fight. Later, when their mom and dad get a divorce, they worry that it is their fault. Their mom moves out even. The book is written in the perspective of the older brother. They learn that it is not their fault. This book is great because these types of children affected by divorce/separation often can worry that they did something wrong aucune critique | ajouter une critique
