Lollipop Lovin’ is the second book in the ‘Bake Sale Bachelors Season Three’ series. It stars Phil, a veterinarian and an omega, and Hugh, a prestigious candy maker and Alpha. The story is told in first person through both Phil and Hugh’s povs.



This is an extremely low key, non-conflict story about two men who reunite after Hugh returns to settle down in Clearvale, the town he grew up in. Phil never left, but Hugh wanted to take on the world with his candy creations and he did, making a huge success of his talents. Phil stayed behind and let Hugh go, and got his degree in veterinary medicine, something he wouldn’t have done if Hugh hadn’t left. There’s no animosity or regrets when the two reunite. They accept that they needed time to grow up first.

Pretty much that is the story. Both Phil and Hugh are nice, no conflicts between the two or the townspeople. If you’re looking for a book with a super laid-back feel for Valentine’s this is the book for you. Personally, I would have liked more plot, more interesting characters, and more tension. For me personally the plot is rather plain. This is a super sweet, super sugary, super fluffy story. I give Lollipop Lovin’, 3 Stars because there isn’t much to it. Other books by this writing team are more memorable.
