In the latest book of the Westward to Home Series, readers get to enjoy Julianne’s story after returning from finishing school. Audiences will remember we met the character in the previous books Delia and the Drifter and Miranda and the Miner.
Julianne is a smart and capable young woman no matter what she puts her hands to do. She can ride a horse, lasso a steer, run her mother’s dress shop and more. However, Julianne gets tangled up in her parent’s web of lies that are trying to marry her off to a less than stellar individual that most in the community don’t trust. When Julianne reconnects with Levi Stanfield, who is the successful new lawyer in town, her heart may indeed find its happy ending.
When Julianne decides to join her sister’s crew on a cattle drive, her life unknowingly is now in danger. Unless Julianne can figure out a way to escape and let Levi know of the danger he faces, she may lose her chance at happiness.
I enjoyed reading the series about the three sisters and their journeys to find their place in the world. Delia, Miranda and Julianne have different stories and personalities but their faith, love of family and hope for the future are contagious. The story was exciting and a great way to spend the afternoon out of the heat and humidity. I hope audiences will get the series and enjoy the journey west as these women search for homes filled with love and happincess!
