In addition, the reader will learn the basic groundwork of self-defense, self-defense against attacks with weapons (stick and kinfe), as well as attacks using firearms at close range. Another feature of 'jiu-jitsu-The Basics' are lessons concerning locking, throwing, striking and kicking techniques.
'Jiu-Jitsu-The Basics' will not ony allow every jiu-jitsuka to prepare him-herself effectively for a grading test,it will also provide the trainer with a comprehensive reference book.
Christian Braun has been practicing various forms of Martial Arts for 20 years. Amongst other things he is a Grand Master in Ju-Jutsu (5th dan). He is the holder of further Master titles in traditional Jiu-Jitsu systems and is an instructor in Progressive Fighting systems, Madunong Guro in Eskrima and Luta-Livre.
For several years he has instructed on national courses throughout Germany for the German Ju-Jutsu Association, and has officiated as the main instructor for instructor training for the German Association.
