Peyton and Xander are bonded through many ways but especially through tragedy and heroism. Peyton lost her mother, and, in a way, she thought she would be better off because all the things her mother put her through but when all these emotions surface, she feels numb, wants space, and feels guilty. Xander isn’t a stranger to losing a parent and the grief that stays with him always, but he can’t be Peyton’s hero even if she looks at him like he is. They are both struggling with a lot of thigs that are weighing them down, so how do they cope or at least try to carry on one day at a time? Their bond goes beyond lust and want it becomes more because they see each other’s soul and realize they are kindred spirits bound by tragedy but found in love. With so many questions, doubts, trails, and other people who can not understand them can they become more or are they doomed from the start? I was upset with my favorite guy’s Cam and Jason, I understood that they wanted what was best for Xander and Peyton but the way they kept hounding them and getting angry probably wasn’t they best way to handle things. Peyton was an old soul and wanted to do things her way without depending on anyone and she brought the best out in Xander, and even though their relationship could be considered taboo they loved each other with a fierceness that transcends what other’s think. That ending had me holding my breath dying to know what is going to happen with this group of friends and how will it all play out, can’t wait for more!!! ( )
