A short rhyming picture book that will delight young children! The rhymes and stanzas are a bit clunky in spots, but kiddos either don’t notice or don’t care. Average story and that font choice aside, the illustrations in this book are gorgeous. The shading and details and colors are above and beyond what is typically expected of storybooks. You can tell that a lot of time and care went into creating this book.

There’s also a cute little coloring page at the end! I have the ebook so I can’t utilize it, but my little would definitely want to color it if we had it. ( )

A cute story with vivid and colorful illustrations. Definitely a book children will want to read again and again at storytime or bedtime. Reminiscent of the Candy Land board game. Easy to follow rhyming flow helps young readers to read, understand and comprehend.

Adorable easy reader children's book for storytime! My toddler loved it. Colorful and imaginative, it's always more fun when the rhyming text has a steady pace and isn't forced at all. The red baseball cap and glittery bow pigtails were easy to follow for little ones as well. Cute details and the book on the mantle to read at bedtime next in the story is the author's next book.

I loved the brightly colored illustrations. It reminded me of "Candy Land", which each of my kids were obsessed with. Children will love exploring the colorful pages. ( )

How Sweet! A delightfully bright and positive story, my 4 year old was enamored and asked for it again and again. Thanks to Sherry Dahl and Aldar Zeinheshev the story and illustrations are both so captivating! ( )
