Lady Miranda Montvale finds herself a widow and deeply in debt. She must save her home from the creditors and looks for a solution to her problem. She learns of The Barb’s bet and sets out to win that bet.
Nicholas Barbour, a notorious rake is The Barb who years ago placed an unusual bet at Whites. The bet is very titillating and relates to control in a very intimate manner. Many women have given their best to win this prize. Lady Miranda begins some very sensual indoctrination in preparation for the seduction and capturing the reward.
INSIDE LADY MIRANDA takes place in the regency period in England. This is a spectacular tale that has moments of steamy, arousing trysts that leads to a charming, passion between two delightful members of nobility.
I enjoyed this sensual historical short story. Characters were very believable and you really were pulling for Miranda to win the bet. Easy and quick to read...I recommend this book and look forward to the sequel. (
