The Wombat Divine is a sweet picture book about a Wombat, his love for Christmas, and his excitement to FINALLY be old enough to try out for the Nativity play. However, he discovers that finding the perfect character role is increasingly difficult for him. He does not quite fit in until a friend suggests he play the role of baby Jesus. He was perfect for the role and stole the show in the play and this book. Yay for the underdog or should I say the Wombat Divine. ( )

This bear wanted to be in the nativity play but seemed to have a problem every time he was a signed a part in the play. He finally got the perfect part and was very happy.
