Kennedy Ryan knows how to pull the strings of my heart and guts out! Queen Move was compelling and I read it all in two sittings. I recall looking down at my e-reader and seeing I was 48% finished and it felt like I had just began reading. I enjoyed how Ryan examined identity and family here. I haven't read the other books in this series yet, (chaos reader!) but I already own them so I'll be back to find out more about everyone else. ( ) this would be a 5 star review except that the middle twist/conflict felt too dramatic and over the top to me. however, even having said that, i still liked how both kimba and ezra's emotions around said dramatic twist were written about, and cannot say enough about the immense talent and power Kennedy Ryan has as an author. Absolutely loved- and really love how she wrote Kimba's family and their dynamics too. This was everything I needed and so much more. Kennedy Ryan never disappoints me. Her words, her characters are able to make you cry and laugh at the same time at 1am and won't let you take a break, you can't. If you never read her books or the all king's men duet I recommend to read that too, they're equally as good. But this book. This damn book is now my absolute favorite from this author. It's not a secret i love second chance romances, mix that with Kennedy's writing and you have the BEST SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE EVER WRITTEN. It had everything: the drama and angst but not the kind where you roll your eyes and don't believe it at all, you can see both parts and sides you understand why they drift apart and why they have struggles. The love was absolutely believable, add the childhood soulmate love and you can't help but root for them. The chemistry was over the moon fantastic, KR writes some of my favorite sex scenes but here you literally could feel the chemistry running out of the book. Incredible. An adorable child you can't help but adore and want to protect. I also loved how much Ezra loved his child, you could see him being the best father he could ever be and it was so appreciated. I also loved the topics in this book, as usual the author is well known to give us romance AND talk about important things. And here there were some important topics that I totally believe were treated with respect and knowlodge/research. And it's always a bonus for me. What are you waiting for? PICK. THIS. From bestselling and RITA Award-winning author Kennedy Ryan, comes a captivating second chance romance like only she can deliver ... The boy who always felt like mine is now the man I can't have ... Dig a little and you'll find photos of me in the bathtub with Ezra Stern. Get your mind out of the gutter. We were six months old. Pry and one of us might confess we saved our first kiss for each other. The most clumsy, wet, sloppy ... spectacular thirty seconds of my adolescence. Get into our business and you'll see two families, closer than blood, torn apart in an instant. Twenty years later, my "awkward duckling" best friend from childhood, the boy no one noticed, is a man no one can ignore. Finer. Fiercer. Smarter. Taken. Tell me it's wrong. Tell me the boy who always felt like mine is now the man I can't have. When we find each other again, everything stands in our way-secrets, lies, promises. But we didn't come this far to give up now. And I know just the move to make if I want to make him mine. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
