I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

With close to 80% of the reviews that I’ve written so this year having been for nonfiction Christian books, I needed a slight break to review something else. And Little Bits has served that need quite adequate with drifting too far afield from the Christian genre books.

Besides being a rather voracious reviewer of these nonfiction Christian books, I’m also the author of four books, a secular and a Christian romance, a collection of 100 Flash Fictions, and a collection of 50 Christian short stories/essays. Writing these Christian short stories of my own is what brought me to download this book.

Given the brevity of short stories, it takes a definitive bit of creativity to write a complete story, having a beginning, a middle, and an ending, without any lack of fullness. Little Bits contains a board sprectrum of genres a comfortable whodunit to a sweet Christmas holiday story with a sprinkling of a sugarly romance and apprehension thrown in to spice things up a bit. Short stories are wonderful to read given the harried times we’re living in these days, and given they’ve all been written by Christian authors you know that each one will be a wholesome reading experience.

When you consider the above, you can see why this reviewer of nonfiction Christian books and author of two Christian books has given this anthology of short stories the 5 STARS it has received. ( )
