This was a great read and an interesting premise for a story. Heartbreaking but also uplifting the last few chapters had me in tears. ( )

Doch wie kann man mit dem Gedanken leben, wenn man genau weiß, was passieren wird? Joel trifft eine Entscheidung, die sein Herz zerreißt.
Es ist eine wundervolle Liebesgeschichte und ein sehr berührender Debütroman der Autorin Holly Miller. Der Schreibstil ist einfach toll. Joel und Callie erzählen ihre Geschichte, die überraschend und herzzerreißend ist.
Die Charaktere sind sympathisch und sehr individuell und Callie und Joel sind ein traumhaftes Paar. Ich habe mit ihnen gefühlt und gehofft. Joel weiß, was Menschen um ihn herum geschehen wird und versucht immer wieder Schicksal zu spielen, doch nicht immer gelingt das. Was kann er ausrichten, als er Callies Zukunft träumt? Wie kann man damit leben, wenn man weiß, was für ein Schicksal der großen Liebe bestimmt ist?
Es ist eine ungewöhnliche und emotionale Geschichte, die einen packt und nicht mehr loslässt. ( )

I did not want to come to the end!!! I just loved this book....Joel, Callie, and then Finn and Warren..... and all of the other characters! Yes, it was little steps at a time as the story developed but there was so much feeling in the author's descriptions of the emotions of the characters. I wish I still had it to read........ ( )

I am very much out of step with all of the breathless reviews that appear on the dust jacket of this book - supposedly I should be grief-stricken and crying my eyes out. This book did not strike me that way at all. I really disliked one of the main characters, Joel, and didn't feel connected at all with either him or his girlfriend, Callie. I will say that the ending was nicely written and well-crafted, but that's about as far as I can go. ( )

A Sight of You is a gem full of proses from beginning to end that will leave you breathless from debut author Holly Miller filled with highs and lows, love and laughter, in a captivating and heart-wrenching love fiction that asks the question. Would you choose love, if you knew how it would end? The answer from this reader is yes, yes, oh God YES! Just make sure you have a box of tissues along the way. ( )
