Joey needs a Daddy... Intimacy has never been my main priority. Not what people expect to hear from someone who's been head camera man for the single best studio in the kind of industry I work in. I thought I'd seen it all working for the Ballsy Boys, but helping to build the Kinky Boys from the ground up seems like it's going to be an eye opening experience. A man has never turned my head before, so why can't I stop checking out Daddy? Bedroom activities may not be the height of excitement for me, but watching subs kneel for their Daddies certainly has me wondering... What does it mean if a Daddy Dom keeps trying to feed me and make sure I'm okay? And what does it mean if I kind of like it? Daddy is the first book in the Kinky Boys series, a spin off from the bestselling Ballsy Boys series. It can be read as a stand alone and ends with a HEA.… (plus d'informations)

Joey wasn't “just” a cameraman for a porn studio, he was THE best in the trade. His skills had propelled the New York production studio to the top. He thought that it was because he was a straight man and didn't get distracted by what was going on around him...just made the scene all it could be. Then he hears from his aunt in Vegas that his parents need him, and as an only child he leaves his friends and career in New York and heads for Vegas. He's lucky that Bear, his friend and boss in New York, had a friend that was starting a studio in Vegas. A new production company would give him an opportunity to again do what he loves and watch out for his parents at the same time. Hunter has been the wrongly accused victim in New York and as a result is looking to make a fresh start in Las Vegas, far from the memories that haunt him and what happened to his boy. There is much more to this story than just gay romance or porn...although be warned...both are there. It's about self-realization, learning that who/what you are...is not wrong... as well as covering some subjects that are very often misunderstood along with a peek into a lifestyle that is much more prevalent and practiced in various degrees by people from all walks of life and social standings, than is thought. Loved Hunter and Joey. Was afraid for a while that Joey was going to get cold feet...but it all worked out beautifully. Why can't the parents in these stories be more understanding??? My husband and I have a gay son and I would never even consider that there was anything "WRONG" with him. ( )

Very fun, easy to read, and low angst, which is not always something I like but I thought it was well done here. I liked the chemistry between Hunter and Joey, though I liked it more towards the end as it seemed a bit sudden to me at first. I liked that they were both in their 40s, though I will say that Joey didn't really seem to act like a man in his 40s a lot of the time, but some of that is probably due to the nature of their dynamic. If you're looking for a well-written, low-stakes read, this might be good to pick up. ( )
