In the story, it talks about a little girl does not want to go visit her aunt and grandfather. Her mother tells her to write to her everyday. At first, she starts writing that she wants to go home but at the end of the book she real wants to stay. This can relate to kids who have moved or have to move. This will show them how things will get better when you get used to it. ( ) I enjoyed Don't Forget to Write and I believe that children will too. The little girl in this novel, Rosie, REALLY does not want to go stay with her grandparents on their farm. Her mother tells her to write her letters while on her visit. The text of the book are written on actual letters to her mom, which I loved. Gradually, she goes from "I want to come home" to "I want to stay a little longer". Children will definitely be to relate to this book. Great read! " Don't Forget to Write" is a story about a little girl with separation anxiety. She goes to visit her grandparents and has a really hard time being away from her mom. She writes her mother letters while she is away, and you can see through the letters that her anxiety begins to go away the longer she is with her grandparents. This is a great story that many children can relate to and they can learn to write their parents when they're feeling sad. The illustrations also show her doing many fun things, which also aided in relieving her anxiety. This is a problem that many children deal with and they will enjoy this story. Rosie wasn't excited to spend time at Grandad's farm. Her letters to her parents expressed her desire to come home. In the beginning each letter ended with "I want to come home". As she spend more time at in their farm, her feeling has changed and so did her letters. In her letters, she talk about the fun things she did with grandad and Aunty Mabel. Grandad took her fishing and Aunty Mabel cooked the fishes they caught together for dinner. At the end her letter changed into "I don't want to come home yet." I think this book is so cute. I love that the letters are like a journal for Rosie. This story is about a young girl who visits with her grandparents and does not expect to have such a brilliant time. She writes letters to her mother daily. In her first letters she complains how she wants to come home and by the end of her visit she does not want to leave granddad. They have such a great time together; she wants to stay longer. This story can show children how fun it can be to visit grandparents. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
