But it's still a good book and I love the story this series tells. Can't wait to see what will happen in the next book. Need it.. now.... please? The aucune critique | ajouter une critique

E?tienne Lacroix and I had a fire I thought would never die. Our love was timeless. An irreversible decision sent me back to the present day with a family I barely recognize, but I am determined to find a way back to E?tienne. I can survive time. But I can't survive life without him. Time bends to no one's demands, so I must fight with everything I have to return to the past. However, I am terrified that the past I once knew might not look the same, and the man who once called me his surviving trace will no longer be waiting for me. Time bends to no one's demands but sometimes love does ... Contains mature themes. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

The Hero is engaged to another woman when the Hero and heroine meet back up.
She has been gone 2 years I think it is.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
During separation neither have been with anyone else.
The Hero has got engaged to have a family and he has no guarantee the heroine will return or more importantly stay with him.
The engagement is advantageous to business, that said the other woman has genuine feelings for him.
In this book the Hero cheats.
He doesn't break off his engagement but is intimate with the heroine and still continues to be engaged and be intimate with the heroine, even when the heroine asks him to choose.
It felt like on this point the book dragged on and on, it kept coming back to the same issue.
At first I admired the heroine, she's hurt he's moved on and even though he tells her he loves her, he won't break off his engagement. Then they both give in and cheat.
I felt although I could understand, at first the Hero's reasons he got on my nerves, he really needed to decide.
It felt like it was dragged out.
Cliffhanger.
