Jill is known as the widow of a very famous singer but also as a songwriter. She is preparing a memorial concert in her husband's memory when she meets Ben, a much younger singer from a boy band who is striking out on his own. Even though the sparks fly between then, Jill is very aware of the age difference and worried about how her teenage daughter will feel about the situation. When the tabloids put their new relationship in the headlines before she even has a chance to tell her daughter, there are hurt feelings and disagreements on both sides. Will Jill and Ben be able to find love with each other despite all of the strikes against them or will they decide to call it quits?
This is an interesting love story - both the age difference and the way the story is handled in the media. I thought that it was well written and I really like the main character, Jill, and how she handled the problems in her life. ( )
