Even though the trajectory is pretty much pre-set, it is again an excellent ride. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

In Part 4 of the I, Davros storyline, the switch flips. Davros changes from being a scientist who wants to seek the truth to being a zealot driven to completely exterminate the Thals with his new species. But Davros is not above making use of the Thals themselves to further his aims: a Thal spy uses a voice synthesizer to get around voice-recognition locks, and this ends up being useful to the Daleks. This same spy also involuntarily donates his brain to science. And this is where we find out how the Daleks got their name: from the language of the Dals, an ancient Skaro civilization. Daelek means, basically, godlike. So no shortage of ego for these ones.
This was such a good conclusion. Chilling, especially that very last line. The perfect ending. ( )
