There is a reason why this author is an acclaimed one. She writes with all of her soul in the words. This book was just an example of that. I was bothered by the ending as it came together to fast without much explanation of what Bodhi he experienced before he came back and everything was hunky-dory. Otherwise, this would have ranked higher. ( )

Bodhi might just be the hottest Sugar Lake man yet. Bridgette is a single mom, who's sweet and carrying a broken heart. Together they find a fire that neither can ignore or put out. However, even a raging inferno of lust sometimes leaves behind smoldering coals of more than passion. Love might just arise from the ashes of their desire if only they can move past their fears of having something more.

OH MY GOODNESS! Melissa Foster! What are you doing to me!! How can you give me such a wonderful, amazing, loyal, beautiful hero to fall in love with! Or another series, that I clearly cannot live without! And if all that wasn't enough! You give me an amazingly strong heroine to root for, and her adorable son to fall in love with! Seriously though! My life will never be the same.

Life of florists, single mom Bridgette Dalton is tough, but after the death of her husband, she's determined to make it a great one for her son. But what draws her eye is the mysterious new neighbor, whom is working hard on his house, oh and his crazy Chinese food stealing dog! Bodhi Booker is a fixer, that’s what his job is, and now he is fixing up a house for his mom, while he is in-between missions. It doesn't matter that the new neighbor is smoking hot! Or that he can't get her out of his mind, or even that fact that her son has wormed himself in to Bodhi heart! He cannot get into a relationship with another person, and do his job…, but Bodhi can't stay away, so they can date until he deploys…right?

If you couldn't tell, I love every part of this book and have read it at least 5 times since I got it. It truly is everything I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster book; well written, complex characters and a plot you can sink yourself into, and this is why I give Only For You 5 stars.

Often it takes something special, like a child's love, to pull us from such a dark & dismal part of our lives. Only the truly brave & strong open themselves up to the pain again. Bridgette lost her young husband in a horrible accident. She's dedicated her life to raising her son & trying to make up for him growing up without a father. She doesn't need a man in her life. Then she runs into Bohdi in her sister's bakery. Now he's all she can think about. What is she going to do?

Bodhi is an ex-soldier that is still running rescue missions trying to save the world. He doesn't want anyone left behind like his father was. He doesn't "do" relationships, only one night stands. He feels that way, no one is apt to get hurt if he doesn't make it back from a mission. Why does Bridgette & her son make him regret that?

Melissa Foster has given her readers another story of life, love, pain, & forgiveness. Bodhi has to realize no matter how many people he saves, it will never be his father. Bridgette needs to realize that she deserves to find love again. The attraction between them is hot, intense & all consuming. The characters are well developed & realistic. I loved the way they all interact with each other. Bridgette's sisters always have her back, even if they don't agree with what she is doing. This book may be the second in the series but can be read as a stand alone. I really can't wait to see what Ms. Foster comes up with for the next one! ( )
