This is a novel featuring Agatha Christie as a (fictional) detective, the third in the series. When Agatha is taken to the London theatre by an old friend, she finds herself embroiled in a mystery surrounding the sudden death of one of the dancers. Reluctantly at first, she is drawn into the investigation, and unearths a world where nothing is what it seems and where everyone is performing a role. But in helping to reveal the true murderer, she finds herself shedding light on the concealed truths of her own work - and her own life too.
