This book shared the different types of families. There's families that are all blood, there's families with adoptive kids, and there's families with foster kids. Each family is special whether they're biological or not. I liked that this book gave honest reasons for why a mother couldn't keep her child. This book also gave questions that the reader can answer, like, "Is there anything you would like to know about your real parents?" Some kids may have a lot of questions that they are keeping to themselves for many reasons. Giving them an opportunity to ask these questions could give them the clarity they need. ( )

This book looks at adoption and how a child might feel and think during it all.
