Lily is a stage actress. She's good, and after agreeing to do a nude scene she gets lots of offers for similar roles. Her latest part involves an on-stage sex scene - simulated and carried out under a blanket - but when her husband Luke goes to see the final performance of the show he recognises moves and sounds she makes and it doesn't seem to him that she's acting...
And that's where this enjoyable romp kicks off. The first third of the book focuses on Luke and Lily's entry into "the lifestyle" and it is jam-packed with steamy scenes. Once they are immersed Luke becomes aware of a sinister bent to the community of powerful men Lily has become involved with and they are soon caught up in the machinations of unsavoury-types-up-to-no-good, but not too caught up for regular hookups with new friends along the way.
This is a "hotwife" story in which Lily (and occasionally Luke) has sex with other people - mostly with prior consent. Neither partner is "cheating" on the other but if that concept troubles you then this might not be the book for you.
It was definitely the book for me! (
