Sedona is an American wolf shifter who is in Mexico on spring break. While she is there, she is abducted by other wolves, and then sold to yet another group. When she finally is aware of where she is, she's locked in a cell, chained to a bed, starkers.

Carlos is the Alpha of the Monte Lobo pack. He's spent many years in the US, going to school. In the meantime, his pack has been ruled by el Consejo, a council of elders. One day, they bring him down to the cells and show him the prize that they have secured for him, a beautiful, fertile, Amerian wolf. When he walks into the cell, they lock him in so that Sedona and he will be intimate and hopefully end up mated, so that she can go out and provide the pack with new blood and lots and lots of babies. Carlos and Sedona do end up as a mated pair.

When her dad and brother come to rescue her, Carlos makes sure that she's freed so that she can escape with them. It's a tough choice on him, but he does what he thinks is best for everyone.

OMG, a hot story. A very hot story. Lee and Renee, on their own, write some smoking stories, but when they start collaborating, a nice hot bonfire quickly turns into a raging inferno of lust and sex. Carlos is a good man who is trapped in a bad situation and he wants to change things and make things better for his pack, but until Sedona shows up, he doesn't have as strong a fire to do it as he might. Sedona is tough, she has needed to be, and she makes some hard choices on her own, and she does it for what is best for her. They get their HEA, but it's not an easy ride for anyone, which is what makes the ending even better, in my opinion.

I am so happy that I found these two authors and this series. I am LOVING it. This book was even better than the I was expecting. Paranormal romance is hit and miss with me. That being said, it sure is NOT this series because I am loving it. Dirty., Superb writing. Fantastic story line. Great characters. Amazing settings. Chemistry galore. And, HEAT. Hot Sticky heat (and I am not talking about the weather here. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone without being lost. I would recommend starting with the first. Mainly, because it is just that good.

The Bad Boy Alphas series can be read as a stand alone so don't let that stop you from picking it up if you have overlooked the prior two in this series. I am always confident with a Renee Rose novel that I will experience an erotic, paranormal, romantic and an amazing action packed novel.
