This was really unrealistic, but I was still entertained, so that is all that mattered to me. You kind of had an idea of what was going to happen from the beginning, with the story line of her sister, but I guess we had to wait til the end. I always enjoy a story line of military guys who are friends and start a business together, so I look forward to reading more about the group and to read about Reid and aucune critique | ajouter une critique

A Standalone Romance Novella With No Cliffhanger and a Guaranteed HEA She's supposed to be off-limits, but all bets are off. Reid I'll never regret running away from a nightmare of a broken home to join the Army. On my return after three tours, I have a chance meeting with a sassy little country-western songbird. The attraction is explosive, but she turns out to be my ex-girlfriend's little sister. I don't remember her having all those curves, or her fiery attitude, or that mouth that was made for sin. Now that I've set my sights on Robin, her forbidden status means nothing to me. I'm ready to claim her, no matter the cost. Robin I bump into the bad boy who broke my sister's heart nine years ago, and everything changes. I never expect forbidden fireworks, secrets and danger at every turn, and a hero in my corner when I need him most. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

The key to enjoying this story is looking at the series title and knowing it's going to be a quick, insta-connection type of romance. I personally want a little more communication between my leads before they upend their entire world for someone but I knew that was going to be the case here.
Overall, I just felt like this book had a weird pacing. I think it focused too much on the plot at times (though by the end you see how it is all put together more-so) and not enough on these two actually interacting. I just needed a little more. ( )
