1st. It says Kindle edition is 155 pages. It is actually closer to 190 pages.
2nd. This series Knocked My Socks off!! A great Thriller and Adult Erotic Romance.
It is provoking. You find yourself a part of the Dark that lives in Sadie Bonds, the main female character.
It is tantalizing. You just can't quit reading no matter how much you need to do other things.
This world that Trisha Wolfe created, the characters, the mix and fight of Dark and Light that you can't help but relate to in some way, entices and fascinates you.
Is there room for improvement? Perhaps..... But I was so involved in the story, the flow of the story and the characters, that I literally cannot say if there were any editing errors, etc.
The story is just that gripping.
Was it worth the $3.99 I spent for it? A resounding YES! Even with my 'economical' (cheap) personality, I say YES! YES! YES!! ( )

What a journey this series has been. The search for a killer finally comes to a conclusion and in the fashion of how this author has written this series it is not done in an orthodox way.

There is nothing more sweeter as a reader to not know the journey I am about to take when starting a book. This series took you places you never expected to go, blew your mind a time or two and if you have the tendency to side more on the twisted side of thinking this ended will satisfy all your cravings.

I wanted to read Visions of Red because I have adored everything Trisha has written even things from when I beta read some of her stuff not published. She writes characters that are easy to love and sizzling romances that make me want to swoon. I will admit that the whole mystery and murder part of it is not something that I would have chosen to read without her name on it, but she totally swept me off my feet and it was a story that I did not want to put down. I loved the first and connected so much with Sadie. I was left wanting more and excited to find out more about the mystery from the 1st book.

It picks up right where we left off, and Sadie has been targeted by the UNSUB. She of course, has to suspect Colton, but she doesn't really believe or want to believe it was him. Colton longs for more with the taste of submission and steam that he had with Sadie, and he understands that he had to be considered for the string of murders, and the texts and targeting of Sadie. Eyes for the most part are off of Colton and onto the person from their own that was taken by the UNSUB. Efforts are going into assuring her safety and catching this guy who has targeted Sadie and is leaving too much heartache and death in his wake.

Sadie is a criminal profiler and she draws heavily on her background of being a victim to help her. She is smart and strong, intuitive and witty. But she puts herself inside the minds of criminals and while at work she is a good girl, she does have a place where that darker, wilder side comes out. Colton is the man who has stepped into that place that wants to be controlled in the best of ways, and he tries hard to be worthy of being a dom for her. He worships her and things between them are hot and steamy, but there is also a deep bond that is forming between him, and he can't stand that someone is after her.

The mystery aspect was well done, and I didn't see the conclusion coming. But I like how she wrote it and how it played out. I can look back and see clues going on for them, but I suspected most everyone who turned out to be innocent. I am happy with the ending for the series, and though I will miss the characters and their chemistry, it was satisfying. Sadie learns so much about herself and sees things differently her experiences and how they effected her, and especially how personal this case was to her, I was proud of her.

Bottom Line: Great hot mystery, satisfying conclusion. ( )
