I am new to this author and the series. The story is fast paced, it's hilarious in parts and is well written. The characters are believable and they meshed very well. Ridley Malvern could very well be my newest book boyfriend. He is handsome (of course), patient, intellectual, and HE READS TO HER!!.... An all around great guy. I absolutely fell in love with him. Lainie MacGregor is a spitfire with a head on her shoulders. She's funny, talented, strong and determined. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves Highland romances.
