Nevo was born a girl but at four years old, she was adamant that she was a boy. Later Nevo took testosterone, had their breasts removed and now identifies as gender neutral. This is the true story of Nevo's continuing journey to discover their identity. Nevo was lucky to find acceptance from their family and support from a Jewish youth organisation they belonged to but still found aspects of their journey incredibly difficult. This book was written in order to help other teens on a similar journey. It contains a glossary at the end as well as some resources and reading suggestions. Finding Nevo is a valuable addition to the growing collection of books that portray the lives of those who are trans or non-binary but would also be a worthwhile read for a much wider audience. Parents, teachers and other adults who are unfamiliar with the gender diverse community will find it particularly enlightening. ( )
