Well written and perfect flow. Hugh & Jane's personalities are well developed and easy to empathize with.
There is action, romance & suspense. ( )

Hugh has stayed away from Jane for ten years because he is cursed. The curse warns that he and his two brothers will be the last of their line. They will always be alone, never to love or death and torment will follow. His older brother tried to defy the curse by becoming engaged but his intended died violently the night before the wedding. They wholeheartedly believe in the curse now.

When a crazed assassin decides to target Jane for revenge against her father and Hugh, Hugh is forced to come to her rescue and protect her but can he protect himself from her wild antics of teasing him?

Jane has always loved Hugh and to get his attention, she flirted and teased him but he left her for ten years anyway. She had just decided to go on with her life when he showed back up. She has learned a lot of new tricks since she last saw him. He's in for a ride but she might want to hold on to the reins because he’s not some young colt anymore. He might just buck her off.

I was really into this story and I adored the characters, especially Jane who was a wildcat. I have found myself drawn to Ethan, the oldest brother, since book one. I like dark dangerous characters and he is definitely that. His book is next. ( )
