Author Sawyer Bennett has taken a slightly different turn with Wicked Ride in her Wicked Horse series. Is it just as entertaining and HOT as the previous? Yes most absolutely true. However, Logan and Auralie's story adds a bit more depth and mystery to the storyline.

Logan and Auralie obviously have secrets - huge secrets. They are both aware getting involved require a certain amount of intimacy that will require to reveal these secrets. Can they just be involved in the surface or will deep feelings be their undoing? If you need to know, read this story. Although I love all the Wicked Horse series characters, this novel provided me with the page turning interest in not only the characters but how this journey would unfold.

I am an unbashed huge Sawyer Bennett fangirl. I love her writing and know I will always be in for a highly entertaining read. But this story kept me in it's grip from beginning to end. Not a big fan art creator, but this quote - I just saw the image and needed to bring her words to image. Love this story. 5 out of 5 stars

There comes a time in most people’s lives when we wonder, “How in the name of all that is good and holy did I get here?” For Auralie, that question is being asked on a regular basis at this point. She’s currently indebted/owned by a sleazy bastard who is parading her around an exclusive sex club with the express purpose of selling her virginity to the highest bidder. As if her life couldn’t get any more humiliating, the sleazy bastard allows a member or two per night to sample the goods. You know, as long as there’s no actual penetration. Yeah, her life sucks!

Logan isn’t a wealthy man but as a fantasy maker at the Silo, he also has a membership to the exclusive club. The Silo is a fantasy in and of itself which provides Logan with a steady stream of the two things he likes most in the world, tits and ass. Unfortunately, his interest in his two favorite things in the world dried up the moment he saw Auralie. With absolutely no hope of ever having enough money to “buy” her, Logan has to find new and creative ways to be the lucky bastard who gets to sample the goods. Trouble is, Logan wants more than just a quickie, he – quite inexplicably - wants the long-haul with a woman who will ultimately belong to another.

In what turns out to be some very creative finagling, Logan not only meets Auralie but gets the chance to spend some real time with her outside the presence of her “owner.” It doesn’t take Logan long to figure Auralie is mixed up in something she wants no part of and that sparks every one of his protective instincts. With some pushing, prodding, and a lot of sexual bliss Logan is able to learn more of Auralie’s story and how she came to be owned by a sleazy bastard. With every good intention, Logan sets out to help the woman he is quickly falling for only to find out, she isn’t quite what and who she says she is. With secrets of his own, Logan fights his own demons even as he fights for Auralie.

The Bottom Line: Wicked Ride is yet another fine offering from the devious and dirty mind of Sawyer Bennett. I have to say, I didn’t anticipate linking this read quite as much as I did. Though the whole being owned and sold off thing was a bit uncomfortable, once the story unfolded I got good with it really quick. Auralie isn’t my favorite Wicked Horse woman but Logan is more than enough to make up for her. Logan’s irrationality about Auralie in the beginning brings out all his hot alpha male qualities and with the tortured back story, well, you know I just ate it all up and then licked the damn plate! I don’t know what’s coming next in this series but I’m all in and ready for whatever sexy, dirty, sultry, sweaty, hotness Sawyer Bennett wants to dish out. ( )
