This is Spider Robinson at the top of his game. This work is the one that caused the reviewer in the New York Times to state:

"If I didn't think it understated his achievement, I'd nominate Spider Robinson, on the basis of this book, as the new Robert Heinlein."

I believe I've seen that quote used on nearly every work published by him since. This work will reach in and smack you until your head rings. ( )

An interesting book, especially since it was written back in 1982, well before the internet really took off.
