Cody Harmon has 9 pets and is extremely excited to learn about the pet show his school will be hosting in order to raise money for the local humane society. He quickly learns he will not be able to afford the $10 entry fee for all 9 pets. He works a deal out with his dad to work hard on his animal report and other homework to earn money to enter a pet. Cody decides to lend the rest of his 8 pets to classmates who do not have pets of their own. His friend, Tobit, is upset when he finds out Cody let Simon borrow his dog, Rex. Tobit learns it is because he threw a rock at a squirrel. This book teaches a couple great lessons. Those being, even when you are busy with something fun you need to still make time for schoolwork and do a good job on it, and to always be kind to animals. I would definitely recommend this fun book to anyone. ( ) In this book, an unmotivated boy named Cody finds something he is passionate about. Falling behind in school and showing zero interest in improving his grades, he hears an announcement for a pet-show fundraiser. This sparks Cody's interest because he loves animals and has 9 of them. He runs into some issues, such as raising money to enter his animals in the show. Luckily, he raises the money and his pet pig wins the popularity prize! Cody finally found something that he is really interested in, and won. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
