17-year-old Nicki who needs a life-saving transplant has given up on medical treatment and is on the run with her childhood crush, escaped convict Brad. Her father, Carter, a prosecutor, has teamed up with deputy sheriff Darla Sweet to prove that Nicki and Brad are not the killers the state police believe them to be. But it looks as if Nicki and Brad have reached the end of the road. Stuck in a house, without transport, and both of them incapacitated they are waiting for the final showdown.
Time To Live was a highly emotional and very dramatic final installment with a couple of twists that I wasn't expecting at all.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire action-packed, fast-paced series. If small installments aren't your thing, I would highly recommend checking out Nick of Time when it is published as a novel in Sept. 2016. It's a great thriller and not just for young adults.
