A very quick and easy way to introduce the concept of diversity to your child.

On a side note, I never realized how much I could love eyebrows until I read this. ( )

This book is a very quick introduction to the five senses, and each page has two to three facts about each sense. I would like to use this book to introduce the five senses, and maybe assign one sense to each group in the class, and have them become "experts" about it. ( )

It's just a book to help children recognize facial features

This book informs children about their nose, mouth and eyes. It show that everyone has these facial features even people with different skin colors than you.

I really enjoyed reading this to my kids. It is a book about the differences in our appearances. It is a great introduction to early readers about multicultural literature and diversity. I loved the close up real photographs on each page. Near the end it displays what it would look like if everyone looks the same. Great book to lead to a great discussion. ( )

This is a book about diversity and embracing our differences, it is not a book about body parts. It has large photos and illustrations, including many ethnic groups. The book is a great beginners read into multiculturalism.

I checked this book out in the library. It was very cute and wonderful to read. Although it was not deep in multiculturalism, it was great to find a book that can express diversity to early readers.

In the classroom, I would use this book in a preK or kindergarten classroom. I would read it to them then have them describe their features. We could discuss differences and how that makes us all special. For an art project, I would have them either draw on paper plates to make their face or have them cut out nose, eyes and a mouth from magazine to build their paper face.

More than 100 full-color photos fill this unique picture book with eyes, noses and mouths of people of all races, shapes and sizes--and the rollicking rhyme throughout celebrates our differences and our similarities. It talked about peoples faces looking different by eyes, noses, and mouths. I liked how it showed the pages full of the same face and said would it be a great place to live if we all looked the same.
