After Collin's family cuts all ties with him, he travels with Tanner to Fire Island for the summer to work in a restaurant. The best of all, he's going to spend the whole summer with his boyfriend, Tanner. They're young, in love, and they'll have the whole summer to be openly together, because on Fire Island, nobody knows them, and those who do, won't care.

While this second part of Collin and Tanner's story is just as hot as the first one, it also digs much deeper into their relationship. Neither one is really secure about the other and they're both afraid to ask. What if the answer is something that will change everything? So, while they carry on as usual, and outwardly appear to be the best couple ever, inside things aren't quite so straightforward.

They thought they'd both be working at the restaurant, but Tanner is moved to Oz, one of the hottest nightclubs around to work as a bartender. There he's surrounded by beautiful people. The guys aren't a problem for Collin, he knows Tanner loves him. But the girls... they can offer Tanner something Collin can't. Does he want it, does he want a woman? And there are so many to choose from. Doesn't help one girl in particular is always all over Tanner. And Tanner doesn't seem to realize she's after him in her bed, not just as a friend.

One night it all escalates after Collin witnesses a close scene with Tanner and the girl, and a co-worker of Collin's offers him comfort. Little does Collin know, the co-worker in question likes him. A lot. This time it's Tanner's turn to witness a close moment with his boyfriend in another man's arms.

Tanner flees and Collin is scared he's lost Tanner forever. What if Tanner decides Collin's hurt him too much and decides he's had enough? Luckily, this is not the case. As the months have passed, Tanner's feelings for Collin have only grown stronger as have Collin's feelings for Tanner.

So the second part has a happy ending as well. Despite the drama and a few minor misunderstandings, everything is resolved fairly quickly.

I was really impressed with book one, and book two is even better. This series is about two young men starting out a relationship in college. Book one was all about sneaky discovery. Book two follows them as they navigate the ups and downs, the awkward moments and the ohmigod revelations.

I'm crazy about these boys. They are both super sweet and so green. The reader gets to figure things out with them as they go. I'm not a gay man so I don't have first hand knowledge, but to me as a reader, it feels so honest. Their reactions, hesitancies and experimentations feel so real. I 'went there' with Collin and Tanner. And it made me über jealous at times. *wink*

At the end of book one, a huge milestone is met. It's the same with two. They came so far and conquered so many fears. I'm eager to see where they're heading (waiting impatiently for the next book).

My overall impression is that it was romantic and sexy and hell. I wanted to give out a few backhands to some of the cast, but I loved it, and I firmly recommend to the M/M lovers.
