I got this book for free, from Making Connections, in exchange of an honest review. Get your copy here. Interesting story. Glimpses of mythology made it even more fun. Didn't much like the "instant love" between the main characters but they were sweet together. I loved that even though the Amazons were supposed to be a warrior race, they weren't completely without fear. Fast paced and just the right length. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

The book blurb pretty much tells what the book is about so I won’t go into the story line. It’s told in third person through the eyes of Threso the experienced warrior, and Kreousa, Threso’s recruit.
Nether Regions is not a very long book, only about forty-four pages. I think I would have liked to read a longer book, possibly one that included what kind of training Kreousa underwent and her and Threso’s developing relationship, and then a longer battle scene. The story jumped too quickly from event to event for me to really get into it. However since I am not a Zombie lover, I’m quite glad that that part of the story went pretty quickly.
The ending felt a bit rushed from the climax to the HEA. I think there could have been a lot more done with this book, but I still liked it.
I do enjoy how this author writes, the way she puts words together. I also like that this story is based in mythology. The author created an interesting world; I just wish that there was more to it.
There were quite a few missing words in this book that the proofreader/editor didn’t catch, which is disappointing.
Nether Regions is an entertaining short read that sadly wasn’t a full-length book.
