oh this is not good. certainly it could be worse, so between .5 and 1 star, but there's not a lot to take from this. some of the sex scenes were good, but there was virtually no story; this would have been better written as erotic vignettes, and then i would have known to avoid it. i like more story and character in my books. the characters were all 1 dimensional, except for the "growth" of the main character, which happened so fast it wasn't believable at all. speaking of fast, the relationship we're supposed to be rooting for is all of 2 weeks long so i wouldn't be heartbroken for either of them if it didn't work out. speaking of long term relationships, how about samantha actually being in mourning for her suddenly dead partner with whom she was having a kid? also is there another way to suck/lick a woman's breast besides "greedily"?? also the misogyny and borderline sexual violence. i am not impressed by this. ( )
