I've had this set for a large section of my life and have loved it since I bought it. I have a good relationship with my deck, and I couldn't trade it for the world. It may be a bit tattered, but it's still intact. I recommend this to anyone who wants to use these kinds of decks. Its extra cards are something I have yet to see on any other deck. You can put them in place or use them alongside the standard cards.

The Cat is used as the Dog and reminds me of my kitten, Trixie. The Cat sits in a field of flowers, giving the observer a strange look. The Dog stands proud on the beach, where a stick to fetch lays in front of him. There are three bird cards: the Chicken, Owls, and Songbirds. The songbirds sing meaningful conversations on a flowering branch, the Chickens are social and gossip while feeding on seeds, and the Owls share wisdom from under the Waxing Cresent.
The Rider and the Child have two separate cards by gender, which makes for easy readings. This goes in tandem with the older and younger man/woman. The Riders face away from each other. The woman takes her time, and the man hurries with his harp. The Girl smiles while she picks eggs and places them into a wicker basket. The Boy plays with a small boat within a trough. The two young adults stand outside their home, holding their respective tools. The Older Woman stands facing the Older Man, with both carrying a decorative spear.
The next card in double is the Snake. One stares into your eyes, ready to attack, defensive and aggressive. The other faces away under the Waning Cresent, slithering from her skin on a broken oak trunk, showing the ending prosses of transformation.
The last is the Oak and the Holly. The thin evergreen, covered in snow, is ripe with berries. The Oak has seeded, and acorns cover the ground.
Outside of the extra cards, the rest are just as stunning. The Burial Mound has a single bad-luck crow flying across the crescent on the tip of a New Moon, and thin strips of fog surround the brown, dry grass. The highly ornate Cross sits on top of a patchy field of heather. The Storks stand on the tip of a building, watching over a nest of twigs. Mice tiptoe from a hole in the wall to rip open a bag. The art is fantastic, and I can’t stress enough how much I love it. ( )
