Good but a little heavy on the physical side. Narration well done.

One of my favorite authors wrote another stellar novel. Rebecca Yarros just gets it! The perfect combination of story and characters with just enough drama to intrigue without going over the top. A thoroughly enjoyable read. ( )

Good story.
The heroine has a boyfriend when she meets the Hero. Their relationship isn't right and is more brother/sister than what it should be.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
The Hero was a man-whore type in book 1 but in this book he's sworn off women so he can concentrate on his career.
There is other woman drama, a girl sits on his lap in a bar where they are all gathered.
The Hero and heroine are not together at this point.
She kisses the Hero while still in a relationship with the boyfriend.
Lots is secrets, not difficult to see where there will be angst.

An absolutely fantastic read! A unique and fresh storyline that had my attention from the very first page. Very well written with a good pace to the story. It definitely had me thinking, if I knew I had little time to live how would I handle my life? What risks would I be willing to take? I highly recommend this book to everyone. It's a great one!! ( )
