I really liked that it was from Cade's point of view. I don't know how many times I'd wanted to know the other side of the story of a book. I would have loved it if it had been the length of the full novel. The only thing which held me back a little was how quickly he fell for her. I think in my head reading it, I had expected him to have taken longer to grow into an attraction. Perhaps if it had been longer, than this story would have had the same emotional impact as the others. I think rationally he felt attracted because he was so lonely, but it still felt too easy, especially given that he's a lot older. He does act and think like a twenty-something guy though, so it makes me wonder how the faelehn age. If they're immortal, do they take longer to mature? Or, because of his being ostracized by his peers (whole society?), was his mental growth hindered because of that. He's intelligent, of course, but not very skilled socially. I'd also really like to get to know his sister better, she seems to have an interesting story. ( )
