With this Pride and Prejudice tale Darcy knows that although he is fascinated by Miss Elizabeth Bennet, she would never be accepted by the ton. As Jane and Lizzy leave Netherfield, after Jane's illness, Lizzy has accident and Darcy realising he nearly lost her, reconsiders. With the help of the Colonel and a Doctor Taylor, can Darcy win Lizzy's heart.
A quick enjoyable read, which I may have liked to have been longer. ( )

This was a great Pride and Prejudice Variation and I loved the added story line for Mary and Dr. Taylor later in the story! This Mary was really likeable once we actually had a chance to get to know her. I also really liked the scenes that showed the various interactions between the men in the story, especially Darcy and Mr. Bennet. Mrs. Bennet also has a great scene at the end were she stands up for Georgiana. I loved this story as well as the authors other P&P story The Colonel's Timely Bride that I read earlier this year. ( )
