She is also very attracted to Wes, a local who she selects books for every week at the library. Callie can barely speak a word let alone a sentence. When another local Tiffany makes a play at Wes, Callie doubts herself and backs off. Callie thinks she can only care for Wes from afar and resigns herself to the fate of always being a friend. She does have one piece of excitement planned however and that is going to the Spa with her friends for a girl’s trip and that gives Callie some excitement. Wes is very attracted to Callie, so much so that he now goes to the library every week to get 3 books, where he can just about manage one. Wes thinks it’s cute how Callie is shy around him. After a little trickery from her friends, Callie and Wes end up on a dude ranch together and after some bumps and bruises does Callie go home or does she give Wes and the dude ranch a chance? I really can identify with Carrie's character and fully understands her issues with her curves, as I have them myself. I do have to say that the character Wes is a dream boat, but then again, so are all of the Braden Men. This one is no different, we meet Callie and Wes and we are drawn into a whirlwind of emotions and love which conquers all obstacles that may stand in their way. I like that Wes is like his brother and cousins where he knows how to treat a lady and not take her for granted and basically worships the ground she walks on. Callie is a great main character and her friends are a blast. I found myself wishing I had friends like hers.
If you don’t believe in fate before reading this book I think it may change your mind slightly afterwards.
Another fantastic book in the series and I cannot wait to read the next. (
